Skid Pad Test - Asphalt, Big Bear
Airport - Hankook

The Hankook needed less steering lock, understeered less, had no chatter and
were quieter than the other tires on the skid pad. This tire was very predicible and
easy to drive at the limit, needing the least amount of corrections to hold a tight
line and coax maximum speed around the asphalt circle. The lateral G force was
noticably higher than the other tires, and less steering input translates to less tire
scrub and better wear characteristics. On this test, the Hankook RF10 was clearly
the best tire.
