We have been testing the Koni Raid on many of the most difficult
"Street Legal" 4x4 trails in the Southwest. The Raid Shocks have
survived where the other top brands have failed - more than once!
The unique features of the "Raid Extreme Off Road" dampers are:
Koni Raid Dampers
The Koni Raid shock is intended for driving under extreme
conditions.
These large diameter (2.75") shock absorbers contain more oil,
have thicker rods, big 1 5/8" pistons, stronger attachments and
better heat resistant seals. The Raid features a special Koni
hydraulic rebound valve system. This rebound valve substantially
increases the damping forces during the last 3/4" to 1.5" of the
rebound stroke to prevent metal-to-metal contact.
